Command™ Brand approached us when they were launching their newest Clear line of products, looking to build a new fan following and reach out to their existing customers and fans with a sweepstakes. The result was the creative “Clearly Command Sweepstakes,” which asked customers the question — What would be a bad idea to make clear?
We built a Facebook, web, and mobile application for their campaign which encouraged users to submit their best “Bad Ideas,” and the Command staff responded with way folks could turn each bad idea around with a “Clear Solution,” all the while exhibiting the versatility of their new product line.
In a short period of live time and with little additional marketing, the application received thousands of suggestions and sweepstakes entries, while also generating fans for the Command official page at a 50% clip and adding subscribers to their email list at a 40% rate.
The majority of users visited via the Facebook app, but mobile users accounted for a growing portion of the app’s overall visitors. Mobile users were graced with separate versions of the sweepstakes optimized separately for both phone and tablet screens.
